FreshStart has a tradition of supporting students educationally by providing improvement strategies that use evidence-based practices (EBP). FreshStart of Denver collaborates with organizations to lead engaging workshops that support youth career development, leadership, personal growth, and so much more.

FreshStart is dedicated in empowering the youth and organizations by guiding them towards success. It was founded in Denver and prides itself on providing outstanding customer service.

Meet the Owner/Founder
Danielle Marshall
Danielle Marshall is a visionary and purpose-driven, accomplished educator with 24-plus years of experience in the public school system. She has developed skills as a transformational leader, emphasizing critical thinking, inclusivity, and patience.
Danielle, a former licensed special education and ECE (Early Childhood Education) teacher, has established diversity and equity by ensuring all children from birth to 21 years of age have proper care, education, and access to services that will support them after they graduate from high school. She has advocated for all people so that their voices are heard in all places.
Danielle is an education connoisseur who believes education is one of the best gifts you can give yourself. She holds two master’s degrees. A master’s degree in Education specializing in Special Education from Colorado Christian University and a master’s in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. Danielle is continuing her education journey by attending Liberty University and getting her Ph. D in Education Law.

Community Services
- FreshStart provided students with snacks at no cost: SY 24/25. Location: The Excel Center of Colorado.
- Staff hold positions on public/private school boards and other organization boards.
- All staff at FreshStart of Denver are inclusive leaders.
- Members of our staff volunteer their time monthly to community events.
Meet the CEO
Roddrick B. Marshall
Mr. Marshall is a dynamic CEO, public speaker, and dedicated youth mentor with a passion for inspiring the next generation of leaders. With a career marked by innovation and strategic growth, Mr. Marshall has built a reputation for driving impactful change in both corporate and community spaces.
Mr. Marshall is a sought-after speaker, frequently addressing audiences on topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development. As a committed mentor, he invests his time in guiding young people, helping them navigate their goals with confidence and purpose. He is currently volunteer his time as a youth mentor for Denver Public Schools in their Career & College Success Program
A passionate photographer, Mr. Marshall finds creative expression behind the lens, often capturing the beauty of everyday life and meaningful moments. When not working, he enjoys quality time with family, which remains a cornerstone of his personal life.
In addition to professional and personal pursuits, Mr. Marshall serves as a board member for multiple schools, contributing strategic insight and leadership to help shape educational environments that empower students and educators.

A Youth/ Leadership and Empowerment Series
Program Purpose
This series challenges young men to reject violence, put down the guns, and rise as leaders who are:
Mature, Aspiring, and Noble.
The sessions build character, leadership, and conflict resolution skills while reshaping what it truly means to fight with strength, wisdom, and purpose.

This series has 5 sessions*.
Session lengths:
Short Format:
In school/ After School which includes community events,
(45-60 Minutes).
Standard Format:
Small workshops or Break-out Sessions,
(75-90 minutes).
Extended Format:
Special Events, Workshops or retreats,
(2 hours).
*Series includes a Certificate of Completion and a Pledge.
